Time for The Friday Roll Call!!!! Let's get positive!!
I am dedicating another post just to allow all of us the opportunity to read a positive story or two. I will start!!:
1. Have two closings set for next week.
2. Taught a great Short Sale class to some new agents.
3. I am leaving today to go to Manhattan with my wife, three girls (ages:3, 6, and 7). Will be stay at E78th and 2nd.
***If any of you NYC’ers out their have suggestions for where to go, places to eat and what to see, please add them to this post. ***
4. Had my 9th year wedding anniversary with my wife.
5. My Team Leader, Katherine picked up two buyers. Very proud of her, she is really working hard!

New listings, dinner with my son, taught yoga, the sun came out!
I have a new buyer to work with thanks to by blog in Active Rain.
My 4 year old daughter and I had "Mommy's Tea". I love our girl time.
My husband and I have been married 14 years and we still look forward to date night at home after our daughter goes to bed. Last night is was catching up on LOST and HEROS.
Accepted offer on my listing. The sun came out.
Mike, I sold 2 lakefront home in Portage Lakes, Ohio this week. I wrote another offer for another with a lake view, not heard yet, it is a short sale. Have lots of activity. Life is good!!!

I have a closing today that was extremely difficult to say the least. Thank god it's closing today.
My husband surprised me with Bruce Springsteen tickets!
The sun is back and maybe it won't rain today.
One of my agents is just ROCKING this week, getting deals under contract.

3. Our daughter can now count to 39
4. Didn't cry when I dropped my son off at daycare
5. 6 calls on a new ad we sent out!!
One new listing, construction on custom home is progressing on schedule to close in July, and I'm alive in a great country. Thanks for reminding me of the good things in life.

2. Got a short sale approved with full commission.
3. Woke up believing that mothers still get on your case even in heaven.
4. Mom told me in the dream to be positive on Active Rain today.
5. It is Actively raining in Oklahoma, really.

Received a contract on a listing, closes June 4th, my health is good, all is well here in West Virginia.

It has been a good week. I got paid for a home staging done in February. YIPPEE!
My daughter was here this week for two glorious days, several hours of girl time, there's nothing better!

Mother's Day is Sunday and my mom is with me!

It's like my Gratitude List: Woke up again this morning and I am functional; got an offer accepted by seller; showed homes yesterday to 2 buyers who want to work with me; positive feedback from one of my listing showings; had dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in a while; attended an introductory seminar on "How to Win in this Market"; received a call from a seller/buyer I met years ago; connected with people I want to do business with every day and they were glad to hear from me; working on a blog; attended a seminar on "Creating Happiness: The Sheer Joy of Being Alive"... for starters.
Picked up 2 new buyers, 1 possible listing and am going to Newport (OR) with my husband and 2 girls (15 & 17) for the weekend for Mother's Day :~)
My husband has 2 transactions in escrow, and received 3 offers on 3 seperate properties...1 accepted this am!! We have been very blessed this week!!!
A very good sign that is not typical of a fluke week. 3 closings happened yesterday in my neighborhood of lots, bringing the total lot sales to 5 for the last 3 weeks. There were no lot sales in our neighborhood for 9 months. 1 was at $1.7mm, 1 @ $748k, 1 @680k, and the others in the $200's. That is a huge sign. I have been discounting home sales as I have seen 4 down markets and they usually have a double dip, and I have been anticipating the double dip. We may not see it......

I am completely, utterly exhausted, but I'm thrilled beyond belief! I guess I need to think about a weekend off.... :-)

It's been another great week!
1. We hosted a Phoenix Chamber of Commerce breakfast for 80 people and it was a GRAND succes. I heard a gazillion comments about it this morning at another chamber event. We alwasy put on the nicest we possibly can!
2. Celebrating my main Office /Media Manager's birthday today with the whole team!

Other highlights that were positive for me
Keeping the nine year theme alive ... this week marked nine years since I adopted Sundance from the Henderson Animal Shelter. Happy birthday, Sundance!
Just closed a purchase, scheduled a close for a refinance, and added two new clients (1 purchase, 1 refi).
I lost 10 lbs.
I have had a productive week in real estate.
Sunday is Mother's Day.
I got out of a situation I wanted out of.
Good idea, let's focus on the good, the positive.
Closed one this week.
Signed another one in escrow.
My team picked up 3 listings.
We have one sale.

Great week! Had dinner with my son and wife and kids! My other son and his wife will be arriving tomorrow for a big fun time at Owyhee Reservoir with more family including daughter and her husband. We'll be on our boat blissfully fishing and enjoying the scenery.
I had a closing today! And scheduled one for a week from now! Two more transactions overcame hurdles! And I got a call on one of my listings and think she'll buy it through her agent!

For me I just got back from vacation in Orlando. The weather was perfect, no rain at a nice resort with friends we care about. It's nice to just get away! And nice to be back!
I picked some eggplants, carrots, and tomatoes from my square foot gardens. That really made me happy.
Got to spend lots of time with my husband :)
It was a busy and good week. I wrote two contracts. I have a third client considering writing an offer. I attended a training seminar to learn how to improve my website. Had two promising listing appointments. Met a CPA who might have a referral for me. Visited a past client who has given me two referrals, and he might have a third for me . . . WOW!
Got paid from last week's closing. Scheduled a closing for 5/18.
My daughter finished her first year of law school!!!
Quality Family Time: Went to the new Yankee Stadium with my family, and enjoyed the Yankees-Red Sox game (unfortunately the Yankees lost again). Enjoyed dinner out with the family on Wednesday.
