Hi Mike, I've had a great week.......got two contracts and they are coming along nicely. Inspections already out of the way. One of them is a me-op!
Mike...
It's about time. I was getting impatient :)
TLW...ROAR!
sorry TLW, i should never keep a lady waiting.
Do non-real estate things count? My whole week was great, but how could it be any different with a kick-off like Mother's Day? Not much business, but a lot of personal time - and that's good once in a while.
I was hoping you would show up. I look forward to this every week. That being said I am happy that we can share here. Sold a house last night for an Israeli investor who purchased in 2005, and we got more money than he paid for it.
Margaret,
Anything positive counts
Mike
I got two of my homes under contract, wrote an offer on Tuesday, accepted Wednesday. I am listing two homes today, and I have appointments all weekend. I am also holding open houses on Saturday! :) Great week!

Anyway..... I had 3 amazing Skin Care Parties and made lots of new customers!!! Who says people are not spending money...Women are never going to give up their skin care and cosmetics!!!! Have you ever heard of a women rationing mascara??? Don't think so!!!
Happy Friday!!
Lori
I contacted FSBOs & EXP, some of them seems +ve for next week. Working with buyers and they are committed, Thank God. Personally could spend more time with kid and family. As I'm clean freak, Called for my semi annual carpet cleaning schedule yesterday, now the carpet looks good. So everything +ve so far. Will stay the same for next week also. Happy Friday and weekend as well.
Got three new leads from RE/MAX this week!
Have a meeting with a builder this afternoon that should be fun!
Kids did the grocery shopping!
Husband's business has been picking up!
My car insurance went down $50/month! (No I didn't switch to the gecko company...)
Oh, I can't forget - I had an awesome Mother's Day with my family at Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island!!
The sun is out in Seattle - Woo Hoo - that makes my day perfect :)
...geri
Got confirmation Sunday that the move from my church the previous Sunday was the right one.
Had a week (almost) off from my 3rd job babysitting my neice and nephews.
My son is getting off of the binkie (finally).
Not a lot of business this week, but a few more leads, healthy daughter and husband, healthy me, and birds waking me up in the morning!
This week is already over??? Wow- they fly by. On my way to a closing with an amazing couple that I met from my Growth Leader account. The sun is shining! Possible lead from Facebook friend!
We have been incredibly busy as well. Pricing are driving opportunities and buyer's confidence seems to be increasing, especially when they see deals they haven't seen in 20 years. People always need a place to live, it's just a matter of timing, price, income security and confidence all coming together.

Sunday, Mother's Day - Got an offer on my client's condo. Client accepted. Inspections went off without a hitch, financing moving forward, we close June 25. Why I gave up my Mother's Day to put this together: My client is a new mom with an 8 week old baby and she and her hubby and her brand new little boy need more room....what a cool way to celebrate her first Mother's Day!
Wednesday - My buyers closed on their first home!
Friday - My new mom & dad found the home of their dreams and submitted an offer this morning.
Hope is in the air!!
I love the weekly PRC! Let's see. I had an inspection get all ironed out so that buyer and seller agree on what is going to be done. All escrows have had no problems this week and are proceeding very smoothly so no "fires" to put out.
Oldest son came and spent Mother's Day weekend with me. Youngest son will be here today to take me to lunch. :)
My husband received orders to Camp Lejeune, NC as he wanted so that was really good news.
Looking foward to SUN this weekend!
Hey Mike. My list can be very long but I'll try to keepit short.

Mike...I have had a good time of it with business things too. But what tops all of that is finding my 1+ carat center stone diamond from my wedding ring which had been lost 3 months ago! :)
Mike, I am positive that this year is going to be miles ahead of last year in business and closed deals. I sold 2 lakefronts last week....it is my season in Portage Lakes Ohio!
I had more work in the first two weeks of May then in all of April.
PS I love your idea it should be a in every paper and on every website accross the US. The fact is I have a rental property I have wanted to sell for some time but didnt bother to look into it but after reading about all the closing I decided to get off my ()*&() and go talk to my local realtor about listing. Thanks all

Hey there Mike: If negative bread negative then positive must bread positive, good job at looking at what is good instead of focusing and whining on the negative. Good post.
Mike, it is great that you are staying positive and your bullet points are a great way to see on paper just how good of a week you have had!

Tops to you Mary for GR,
what is shaken in the land of DeVos and VanAndel. Yes the wings are great!! Good to hear some Red Wings Praise from the West. Lots of GR and K-zoo’ers are Chicago Fans. I went to WMU and have a Cabin just south of Traverse so I’m a big fan of West side of our great state. Let’s keep each other in mind when we have cross state clients. I don’t have an agent to refer to in your neck of the woods. Mike
Had to add another: got a call today for a showing on one of my listings that had no activity for 4 months! WOOHOO!
M - took two appliactions
T - Had lunch with 4 of my competitors where we shared insights into current business climate.

F - Took another application and sent 2 more out via email.
Mike-Things are good here in GR. I enjoy the Detroit area for sporting events IE, Wings and Tigers but have never been on the east side lake shore. Count me in on referral opportunities!
Wings 1/ Chicago None Yeah!!!
