Do non-real estate things count?  My whole week was great, but how could it be any different with a kick-off like Mother's Day?  Not much business, but a lot of personal time - and that's good once in a while.

I was hoping you would show up. I look forward to this every week. That being said I am happy that we can share here. Sold a house last night for an Israeli investor who purchased in 2005, and we got more money than he paid for it.

I contacted FSBOs & EXP, some of them seems +ve for next week. Working with buyers and they are committed, Thank God. Personally could spend more time with kid and family. As I'm clean freak, Called for my semi annual carpet cleaning schedule yesterday, now the carpet looks good. So everything +ve so far. Will stay the same for next week also. Happy Friday and weekend as well.

We have been incredibly busy as well. Pricing are driving opportunities and buyer's confidence seems to be increasing, especially when they see deals they haven't seen in 20 years. People always need a place to live, it's just a matter of timing, price, income security and confidence all coming together.

Sunday, Mother's Day - Got an offer on my client's condo. Client accepted. Inspections went off without a hitch, financing moving forward, we close June 25.  Why I gave up my Mother's Day to put this together:  My client is a new mom with an 8 week old baby and she and her hubby and her brand new little boy need more room....what a cool way to celebrate her first Mother's Day!

Wednesday - My buyers closed on their first home!

Friday - My new mom & dad found the home of their dreams and submitted an offer this morning.

Hope is in the air!!

I love the weekly PRC! Let's see. I had an inspection get all ironed out so that buyer and seller agree on what is going to be done.  All escrows have had no problems this week and are proceeding very smoothly so no "fires" to put out.

Oldest son came and spent Mother's Day weekend with me. Youngest son will be here today to take me to lunch. :)

My husband received orders to Camp Lejeune, NC as he wanted so that was really good news.

Looking foward to SUN this weekend!

Hey Mike.  My list can be very long but I'll try to keepit short.

  • I saw a rainbow last night that was the most brilliant I've ever seen.  It arched from one side of our little island to the other and filled me with joy and promise.
  • I just came back to the office from my annual Doctor's visit with a great report.
  • Three new listings this week with realistic prices.
  • Grandsons coming tomorrow for a "sleep-over."
  • LIFE IS GOOD

  • Several deals moved closer to closing this month - got town certifications, agreement on some repairs, etc.
  • Thanks to (graciously authorized) use of Lisa Udy's post, secured a 7% price reduction last night. Didn't even have tears! My 1st concrete AR success.
  • Learned about QPRT trusts to help a buyer move toward an offer on a 68-acre country estate.
  • Laughed some.
  • Am more loved by my husband than I deserve!

The fact is I have a rental property I have wanted to sell for some time but didnt bother to look into it but after reading about all the closing I decided to get off my ()*&() and go talk to my local realtor about listing. Tops to you Mary for GR,

what is shaken in the land of DeVos and VanAndel. Yes the wings are great!! Good to hear some Red Wings Praise from the West. Lots of GR and K-zoo’ers are Chicago Fans. I went to WMU and have a Cabin just south of Traverse so I’m a big fan of West side of our great state. Let’s keep each other in mind when we have cross state clients. I don’t have an agent to refer to in your neck of the woods. Mike
